Is there any breakfast in taco de Mexico??
Oh no! My burrito was falling apart as soon as I opened it. Poor thing.
We enjoy hanging out. Last night we visited this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We had a beautiful experience there with excellent dishes and an experienced stuff and a distinguished chef. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall definitely come back very soon. We highly recommend.
MoreStaff is super friendly but the food isn’t good and orders were all wrong.
Awesome. There was a line when we got there, but Gabby knocked it down in no time and the food came out quickly too. Entire team gets a hi-five!! 👍😀🖐
MoreTacos are over priced, I didn’t order them and I also get they aren’t too good. I had the burrito and it was probably the second worst burrito I’ve ever ate and I was starving.
MoreConsistently good food and the burritos are a bargain at $6.75 for a quick and hearty meal. Their salsa sauce comes in medium and hot, and the hot is very spicy and lives up to its name. Best place in Morro Bay for authentic Mexican food!
MoreReally tasty Mexican food. Nice buritto and tacos
Have tacos at low costs, variety of meats to choose from. Asada Tacos were meaty and flavorful. Have full menus, great hours. Extremely busy, small place, but people line up for their meals without complaint cause they count on the quality of meals their served. Expect a full house and a lottle wait time.
MoreCame to town for food and gas. We picked a Mexican restaurant from google map. Came to restaurant and not expecting too much, but came to our surprise that it offer many flavorful Mexican food. We asked the servant what's good and she takes her time to find out what we like and don't. Custom made our dinner. It was a great experience and food is amazing. Would recommend to detour from 1 to this place for food and gas.
MoreLove the carnitas! Very friendly and locals love this place.
Taco de Mexico did not disappoint! We were recommended to come here by a lot of locals who all claimed this spot to be the best Mexican joint in town. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, considering I've lived in East LA where it's Mexican food paradise! The tacos here still can't beat Boyle Heights in terms of authenticity and price, but it's still super bomb. Tacos are $2.50 each and a burrito runs around about $9. I really enjoyed the lengua tacos! They were so good, and the flavor + texture was delicious. The carne asada tacos were just okay -- a little on the dry and tough side.Pro tip: DRENCH RED SAUCE ON EVERYTHINGGGGGGG.
MoreI would give 5 stars but it seems like the portions have shrank and definitely shooting themselves in the foot with a gun for being closed on Sundays. That being said, Tacos De Mexico is my first choice for Mexican food Monday - Saturday. And their horchata is the best in the county I.M.O.
MoreAmazing little taco place! Line was out the door and so worth the wait! The chicken flautas we're delicious. The salsa options they have were amazing!!!
MoreAwesome food and people are friendly. They have clean restroom
I was happy to see that there was Mexican food around the area and they are not good at all sauce tastes like canned sauce 🤔 disappointed
MoreWhen my fridge is empty, running late for work, don't feel like cooking, this is where i find myself. I love their food, prices, and the friendly faces behind the counter. Definitely recommend!
MoreFantastic street style tacos. Great friendly service, even as we were the last customers of the night.
MoreIt's just really good Mexican food at reasonable prices. Eat here, you'll be happy.
MoreBest authentic mexican food in morro bay without a doubt! This place has been here forever and I've been coming since I was a kid. I still enjoy it just as much and it's a local staple.
MoreGreat food. Friendly staff
The only taco spot in my area that I stay loyal to. Their lengua as well as al pastor tacos are top notch.
MoreAuthentic Mexican food. I tried the tacos and they were pretty good. The juices were also tasty. If you are visiting this place during vacation, I would suggest you to trip. The prices are also pretty inexpensive. However, It will get crowded during busy lunch hours
MoreOrdered the bacon breakfast burrito and it was delicious. They have mild and hot salsa, the hot salsa being my favorite. The staff was helpful/friendly too. I'll definitely stop here again when traveling through Morro Bay.
MoreThis place has some of the best carne asada on the Central Coast and the owners kept everyone safe and happliy fed during the Covid!
MoreManos down, best burrito within 100 miles. Burritos are filled with big chunks of beef, pork, chicken freshly made and stuffed with fresh goodness. My two favs, are the Chili Colorado, and chicken burrito.
MoreOur favorite Mexican food place in morro bay! Carnitas, chile Colorado, Jamaica tea. We get a tub of salsa to go. Small dining room is cozy. Food comes out fast. Love to eat here. Super nice staff always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
MoreExcellent beans and rice. The chickens tacos and enchilada we're delicious. Will definitely return! We just beat the crowd too!
MoreDoes not taste mexican at all. It was disappointing getting a carne asada burrito that had a weird taste (not Mexican). And made me sick after eating a little of it. Will never eat there again, waste of money.
MorePerfect place for budget road trip food. The portions are generous, for the price. Nice breakfast options, and this place is open earlier than most of the eateries in the area.
MoreWas our standby place. Stays open later than most places. The food is good quality, huge portions, flavorful and very reasonably priced. We had carnitas burritos, tacos and breakfast burritos. Staff is friendly and efficient and they practice social distancing with some seating inside. Best to get it to go. We were staying at a hotel within walking distance, so it was very convenient to walk there and take it back to the room.
MoreTaco de Mexico is delicious! I had the veggie tacos and nachos. Both dishes were great. Also, the lady who my order at the was awesome
MoreAuthentic Mexican, a little dated but good
A favorite for all ages, for locals and tourists.
Excellent food, service and a local favorite. Great family owned and run restaurant!
MoreGreat place to get a quick bite. Small hole in the wall tacqueria. Wished they had tripas as a meat choice but they had lengua, if you are into it.
MoreAccording to reviews this is a great place.. So, we went out and tried it.Hmmm our food was on the cold side, portions were small and the beans tasted like they just opened a can and put them on your plate. Plus side, service was fast and friendly. Would we come back NO.
MoreFriendly service, really good food.
Delicious! Love the carne asada fries. Wish they would still be open on Sundays. Smaller portions than they used to be years ago...but I understand. Yummy!!!
MoreDoes speedy Gonzales work here? Our food came out in a flash with super savory flavors. Definitely a loval hot spot, place was nearly full at 8:30pm. Staff was entertaining!
MoreClean, and not super noisy. The food isnt bad either. Good for a decent dinner.
Great place! Had pork and beef borito and they were great. The place has a very authentic vibe.
MoreThis spot is extraordinary and roomy, the menu was yummy and the prices were very inexpensive. fast, efficient service and very welcoming waiters. I highly recommend this place.
MoreGreat food, price n friendly people
Great little pastor tacos, fresh and delicious.
Excellent authentic Mexican food. The Mexican Shrimp Cocktail is LOADED with shrimp and avocado.....delicious! The Carnitas are some of the best I've ever had. Roasted perfectly, big juicy chunks of savory pork. Best thing about my meal was the homemade tortillas....makes all the difference in the world! I will be back and I have been recommending this gem ever since the first time I ate here.
MoreOrdered three different types of tacos: asada, pastor and carnitas. All three had very dry meat and not a lot of flavor. They did have a good amount of meat on each one and the salsa for the tacos was good which is the only thing that made these okay to eat. I also ordered a side of chips and salsa. The price they charge, you get a whole lot of nothing, the salsa is super thin and the chip to salsa ratio is off, a bunch of chips and a little container of salsa. For all of the hype on other reviews I was bummed about the way mine turned out.
MoreThe food was very disappointing. Dry and tasteless. Hopefully it was just a bad day or something.
MoreIt's alway great! The girls are so friendly.
Finally a ‘central valley flavor’ Mexican food on the central coast!! Yeah! Simple. No frills. Cut to the chase. That’s what we want. Can you beat the friendliest staff anywhere? Nope! We are part-timers in MB that live Mexican food. A few friends recommended this spot, and it was topped off by the bagger at Albertsons that said: you MUST go here!!! Ok! We’ll try it!! This is our new GoTo spot for take out, real deal Mexican food. From breakfast burritos to dinner burritos! We just have to try and beat the crowds! Line out the door most of the time! We are so happy to find Taco De Mexico!! Thank you for your service to MB!! Enjoy your Sundays OFF! Taking a break once in awhile is perfectly fine!
